Apart from our continued compliance with local residential building codes, which requires a WaterSense home, Castle & Cooke Arizona has taken a more aggressive stance on what it means to own a “water wise” home. All new homes now include high quality 0.8 gpf “Ultra High Efficiency” toilets as a standard. This is a water savings of over 37% with each flush! Additionally, every new home now has Xeriscape Landscaping. After establishment, these desert native plants will utilize less than 300 gallons of water a year. This is roughly equivalent to bathing 10 times in the average size tub.
