Spotlight on the Sierra Vista Symphony

One of the reasons that Sierra Vista continues to be a popular destination for people to call home is that it offers all the amenities of a larger city without losing its small town feel. Many new residents of Sierra Vista are surprised to learn of the abundance of arts and culture that’s packed into one small city. The Sierra Vista Symphony Orchestra is one part of the arts and music scene that’s not to be missed. They host seasonal concerts and events throughout the year for the community to enjoy.

About the Symphony

The Sierra Vista Symphony Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission to bring live music to Sierra Vista and promote musical education and artistic excellence in the region. Many musicians who play with the orchestra are retired military and local musicians. They help to engage local youth to preserve an ongoing interest in classical music by putting on free performances for fifth graders throughout Cochise County and offering free concert tickets to high school students and young soldiers.

The Sierra Vista Symphony is truly a product of community support, as it is largely supported by members who make annual contributions and receive tickets to seasonal concerts as a perk of their memberships.
