- Carr Canyon Road FS #368: If you’re looking for something a bit more challenging, consider this 8.0-mile trail that is also located in the Eastern Huachucas area. This trail takes you from Highway 92 to the Reef campsite, where you’ll find bathrooms and a rest area with benches, so you can enjoy a refreshment after your ride and before heading back down.
Intermediate
- Brown Canyon Road: This 1.8-mile trail is a great start when you’re ready to take your mountain biking skills to the next level. Enjoy beautiful scenery as you take this mostly uphill ride.
- Hunter Canyon to Miller Loop: Another great choice for those just entering the intermediate stages of mountain biking, this trail is 2.6 miles long and offers a fun challenge to riders.
- Garden Canyon/Brown Canyon Loop: Combining the Brown Canyon and Garden Canyon Linear Park, this 13.6-mile trail is two trails in one. The first part of this trail offers an easier ride, while the second part is more challenging.
- Huachuca Canyon Ride: Get ready for an exciting ride with this 8.6-mile trail! It starts with a steady climb that loops into an exhilarating descent as you come back down.
Difficult
- Clark Spring Trail #124: More advanced riders can challenge themselves with this 2.3-mile trail featuring a lot of drops and downhill riding. This is a rocky trail, so it’s important to be confident and pay attention throughout the ride.
- Perimeter Trail: Another challenging option, this 3.6-mile trail is great for riders who want to test their technical abilities. Be prepared for a rocky ride—but don’t forget to take in the stunning views along the way!
- Cooper Loop: Are you ready for a longer and even more challenging experience? If so, this 10.1-mile trail is a great choice with gorgeous views. Be sure to bring plenty of water so you can stay hydrated throughout this long adventure.
